Located on Gray Avenue near Wesbrook Mall adjacent to its sister UBC faculty & staff building Evolve, the new 6-storey Echo has 152 rental homes in a variety of types including studio to four-bedroom. Many homes contain an additional den for office or storage space. Echo has air conditioning and a roof top gathering space. Additional amenities include enclosed bike rooms including a bike repair station.
Echo residents enjoy a large courtyard with outdoor amenities shared with Evolve (adjacent building), facilitating community connections for residents. Amenities include a play area, BBQs, lawn, bike hub, and plenty of seating. A guest suite will also be available for booking friends and family overnight stays.

Submitted applications are shared with UBC so they can administer the taxable benefits and allocation of housing based on affiliation with UBC.
